In my psychotherapy practice I partner with my clients throughout the struggles they encounter, helping them to see new possibilities and choices. I work with adults and adolescents on issues including anxiety, depression, difficulty in relationships or social situations, low self-esteem, lack of meaning or purpose in life, loneliness, compulsive behaviors and chronic illness. I love helping clients learn to care for and support themselves through these difficulties so that they can lead happier and more meaningful lives.
In my work with adolescents I support them to develop healthy relationships with themselves and others and to make strong decisions. My teen clients describe me as warm and thoughtful, safe and fun, and say that I "get it."
My education includes an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Yale University. I am trained in Gestalt Therapy and Gestalt Awareness Practice, Ecopsychology, and am a certified Holistic Health Counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am now completing my PhD in East West psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies with a focus on Ecopsychology.
